Thalia Mendoza was born in Havana Cuba, but was raised in Miami, FL. Ms. Mendoza graduated from Florida State University in Summer of 2022, with a Bachelor’s of Science in Political Science. She started to work at CJB Law on June 2021, where she started off as an Intern & Translator. After a while, she transitioned into part time and shortly after, began to work full time.
Ms. Mendoza primarily works on the Criminal Defense side & handles our Family law cases. When asked about what she loves most about working at CJB Law, she responded with “I truly love working at a small firm. I appreciate and enjoy the intimate feeling one gets. Being able to work closely with the clients and their loved ones is the best part of my job. I view and treat the clients and their families as if they were my close relatives. I truly want them to succeed in all aspects of their life, regardless of what they have been charged with and/or are experiencing. It is such a bittersweet feeling to advocate on their behalf and help them resolve their case. This is why I make it my mission to keep up with the clients after their case is resolved, because I want them to stay on the right path. CJB Law’s mission and work ethic, aligns with those of my own, so it feels great to work with like-minded people!”
During her free time, she can be found coaching Girls’ Soccer at Amos P. Godby High School, volunteering in the community, or as many of our client’s know… probably working! Ms. Mendoza will be starting law school in August of 2023, in hopes of becoming a Criminal Defense Attorney.
